My daily exercise routine

I believe being fit not only contributes to a long life, but a happy one also! I feel great every morning because of it!

I start with a 1/2 hour of walking (not running)

I read a lot (it keeps my mind active) for about an hour each day. That is important too!

I work a half hour on my abs, and leg and butt toning for 3/4 of an hour

Before bed is an hour of yoga

I do teach fitness classes in my local gym also twice weekly

This combined with my diet makes me feel great! But please, before you start check with your physician, and if you go to a gym, have one of the trainers work with you until you feel completely comfortable with your new work out.

My daily diet diary

As soon as I wake up I begin my day with a hot steaming bowl of oatmeal with extra flax and bran seed

At lunch I will vary with a wrap or chicken and a veggie

I do snack in the afternoon. It is usually a vegetable, but some days I have fruit, raisins, or even peanuts

Every day I have a big bowl of soup. It's different every day, but pretty good!

Have a bedtime snack! Fruit, raisins, or peanuts are just great!
